editing background picture

Last week, I had finish edit my castle and now I will continue to share my experience about the process doing my assignment. Here we GOooooo.......

Go to File>>> open. Select the image that you want to edit and click OK.

Double click on the layer. Rename the layer as Land and click OK to unlock it.

Besides quick selection tool, there are another way to crop the image.
Select the icon ( edit in Quick Mask mode) which is at the bottom of  the tool bar.( shortcut - Q).

Select the brush tool (shortcut - B). Right click your mouse to adjust the diameter and the hardness of the brush.

Quick Mask will add on the image and you will not destroy the image when you shade the part that you want to delete by using brush tool.

After you shade the image, click again the Quick Mask and go to select >>>> inverse. Then, press delete. The part that delete will become transparent.

Right click and select duplicate layer.

Select the Overlay.

Image will become color and attractive. You also can try to click the another mode to see the effect.

Click the layer ( hold the ctrl while select the second layer). Right click on the mouse and select merge layer. Two layers will combine to one layer.Rename again the layer after you merge them.

Save the file after finish editing.
